Kevin P. Keech

Kevin practices primarily commercial law, including the representation of debtors and creditors in out-of-court restructurings, as well as in proceedings in federal district and bankruptcy courts, and Arkansas state courts. He is an experienced transaction lawyer, and has represented buyers and sellers in transactions involving commercial real estate, business assets, and business interests, and in litigation arising out of such transactions. Kevin regularly advises small businesses at all stages, from start-up to break-up.

Experience

  • Debtor Counsel for Chapter 11 debtors including: contractors, real estate developers, manufacturers, service providers
  • Creditor Counsel for secured and unsecured creditors in Chapter 11 proceedings in bankruptcy courts in Arkansas and other jurisdictions on a prohac vice basis
  • Outside/Local Counsel for various state and national banks in secured transactions, providing advice and representation regarding: creation, perfection, and enforcement of security interests in real property under Arkansas law, and personal property under Revised Article 9 of the UCC.
  • Counsel to Chapter 7 Trustees in complex administration and litigation issues.
  • Acted as receiver and special probate personal representative.
  • Litigation Counsel for clients in real estate matters, boundary disputes, construction warranty claims, debt collection, replevin actions and foreclosures.
  • Defended and prosecuted multiple dischargeability and objections to discharge, bankruptcy avoidance action, and lien priority disputes.

Rachel V. Warnick

Rachel joined Keech Law Firm in 2007 as a law clerk and practices primarily in the areas of consumer and commercial bankruptcy law, and general civil litigation, including appellate practice. Rachel is experience in complicated bankruptcy and commercial issues. Rachel is fluent in French, a former member of the Arkansas Chamber Singers, and has appeared in several theater productions in Arkansas, and beyond.
